tnum- Guerilla Fitness is looking to be our Northeast location for the seminar. Being from Minnesooota and all, I'm not familiar with the availability of roads and such coming from Boston but hopefully there's something worked out so we can see you there;)

Please note, I've updated the schedule for the seminars for the first half of 2010. Unfortunately, we could not make the scheduling work for Atlanta. Hope to see those who planned on attending at another venue.
Stay tuned for additional seminars to be added.

Damn, if it wasnt my wife's bday, I would be in Melbourne... Guess Ill have to wait until it comes to NJ. Maybe the wife will want to go though?? She does squat and dl more than most guys I know.

Shame it's not the right 'Melbourne', eh? I always read it as my home town, not somewhere in the US with the same name.

Kung-at this time we're hoping to frequent Guerilla in NJ as our NE location.
Besides being an excellent gym, run by excellent folks, it has a Greek eatery that has magic Lamb and Musaka. Try to get there if you can.
TommyV-stay tuned, as Rip said on the other thread, the crew is investigating coming to you...nice socks by the way.

Looking forward to attending the Feb cert in Texas. Jep, I will be traveling a great deal between now and the cert and it would be helpful to know a bit more about the registration and payment protocols you are setting up. I know it may not be active for awhile yet, but do you know if full payment will be due upon registration, CC, checks, or paypal accepted, deposit required, etc? Thanks,

Any chance there will be SS seminar in North Carolina? Or a neighboring state?
I am an up and coming trainer... Taking the NSCA-CPT exam on Friday. I would jump at the opportunity for this certification, as I am a firm believer of strength training through barbells.

Kinda lame, Rip. Just don't turn in any shotguns and you won't have any problems. It's not like our law enforcement in the US haven't plunged off the deep end a time or two, either.

Steve, I hope you train with equal, vigorous tenacity as you campaign for a seminar to come to Atlanta. We are currently working on scheduling with an excellent, proven venue whose calender is as touchy as ours. Rest assured, it is being worked on.

At this time, Guerilla Fitness in Montclair, NJ is our go to venue for the NE. Based on the response of registrations, it's been a good choice. We'll be discussing coming back that way again.

Heads up! We've added a seminar in the greater Seattle area March 12-14. Eastside S&C in Redmond has proven themselves to be a gym dedicated to serious strength gains with their excellent programming, equipment, and facility. Also, the breakfasts are LEGENDARY! Hope to see you there!
This has been, and will continue to be our W-NW venue.

Well, guys. Hate to disappoint you, but these things don't come about by voting. Certainly not by voting *here*. If you're seriously interested, give a nudge to someone who is in charge of a facility that has the equipment (at least 5 platforms, squat racks or actual power racks, good straight bars, lots and lots of plates...and more) and ability to host it. No facility = no possibility of having a seminar.

New Jersey is sold out... we have one spot left here in FLA. The drivers here are just as bad as in NJ 'cuz 3/4 of Florida's population is retired from the Tri State area.... So, if you are from NY, NJ, CT, come on down! The weather is warm and you can visit your grandparents...

Ok yall, the rest of the 2010 schedule is out. We've just added another November seminar in the Cleveland area, hope to see some of you there.
For those in the West (including Canadia), our last stop of the year will be in the Seattle area in September so don't miss out. We're looking forward to coming back to Atlanta and The Greek Taverna is calling us home to New Jersey.
Our last stop, as always, will be at home here at WFAC which always has the added festivity of the joyous holiday season.

So... then the idea of you guys someday scheduling a trip to my house to offer me the seminar while also building an adequate gym in my garage is not likely? What are we talking here, 1 in a 100? 1 in a 1,000? :^)

We're looking for a host in Iceland. Do you live there? Is your house big enough for all of us? Can you get 25 of your favorite friends to come over for the weekend and pay for a seminar?

Does rip teach the certs in Nj? I really want to attend this one coming up this friday but have another class that is keeping me busy. What would happen if I showed up late on friday? is that a big deal? If I miss it how long till you come anywhere near NY again? I am free on the weekend but just not that early on friday.

The Montclair, NJ seminar is sold out. Keep an eye on our 2011 schedule; coming to this neck of the woods is something we do a few times a year so it's likely you'll have an opportunity to take it in.

Sorry for the late response, but no, I live in Southern California, and I may have set my hopes a little high... haha, my garage is a two-car garage, so if I got a power rack set up in there, I'd be more than willing to have a lifting partner with similiar goals, but southern Calirfornia is a long ways from Iceland, my friend.
