Compete at 180 and win the 82.5 kg class in the USAPL Raw Nationals.
Squat 550 raw
Sumo deadlift 640
Bench 300 raw
Press 200

Start weightlifting again like I used to: the Bulgarian way. After Nationals get my clean and jerk over 140 kilos and my snatch over 110 kilos.

Write this damned book.

I'm going to deadlift 600 lbs at under 90kg. Bonus points if I do it with a hook grip.

Otherwise, just hoping nothing else explodes on me. It's hard to set any other competitive goals with my injury list.

Get at least 8 hours of sleep a night on a regular basis. And save the adrenaline for training sessions, not work and internet related squabbles. All in all, just maximize recovery.

I really, really want to hit a 300 lb clean. I'd like it to be a power clean but if I have to full clean it, I'm okay with that. I'm pretty close but progress is slow. I'd also like to put up a respectable snatch.

The main goal is to miss NO workouts this year and maybe sneak in a few extra... with a pizza and an extra hour's sleep to make sure they count.

My goals for 2010 are:
Drop to ~180 lbs
Compete in USAPL Raw events in March and July (Nationals)
Hit 600+ Deadlift in 181 class at RAW Nationals in July
Bring my unofficial gym total up to 1350 while staying at a lean 180 lbs.

Really, my goal is to just stay consistent and healthy. If I do that, the above goals should be met well before the end of the year.

I'd like to reach the following numbers in 2010:

Press: 135lb
Bench: 225lb
Squat: 315lb
Deadlift: 405lb

Given how things went in the gym this morning, that may be harder than I thought. Oh well--if it was easy everyone would be doing it.

I also need to work on always getting my full 8 hours of sleep.

Squat 585, bench 405, and dead 605. 275 press and 300 PC would be nice too. While I'm at it, fillout the 'stach to look like Tom Selleck's, and get my diesel truck to run low 12's. Shit while running too.

The trucks pretty much already got what it needs, just a matter of getting it running right. The shitting part on the other hand is going to take some work. My body just doesn't seem to want to let go while standing...not too sure how I will train this one.

Very interesting. How long have you been working on it and what prompted you to take on that particualr subject?

Most of what I know about Austrian economics I've gotten from http://www.friesian.com/. It's a great site I've been following for years -- more philosophy than economics, but guys like Hayek figure prominently.

If you really want to shit while running I recommend tons of ex-lax. They did it on an old CKY video. Chris Raab did it. Pretty gross but a worthy goal none the less.
