Aubrey DeGrey (http://www.sens.org/) is the head cheerleader for curing aging. Perhaps he is a little naive, perhaps he's a bit of a crackpot, but it's refreshing not having someone scream at you "You're going to DIE - give me your money."

I used to be excited by Aubrey de Grey's SENS program. But later on I came to the conclusion that he's basically a crackpot with good publicity. There was a report written by 7 researchers in relevant fields who really changed my mind about Aubrey's ideas.

On the other hand, check out Ray Kurzweil and his book Transcend.

When it comes to technology, Ray Kurzweil is the man.

Can somebody who has the book tell us what Kurzweil recommends in his exercise chapter?

Well, that product called the fountain of youth has been selling since at least since the 16th century.

How much you wanna bet it recommends DIET and EXERSIZE as it's main therapy?
The vigor quest was a great read: I got pretty discomfitted over the arguments from the mainstream AMA.
"What constitutes low testosterone for a man at age 40? At 60? At 80? Thus far, there are no universal standards." Really got me. How about feeling like CRAP every day, no libido, aching joints and sleep problems. But they like to say "oh, that's normal for a guy your age" Screw you.
