As I was sitting on the toilet, this morning, I observed that my "stance" width and foot postion was the same as that used in my squat. Coincedence? or Squat form caused toilet stance? or Toilet stance is natural and transfered to squat?

Ah, you must be a thinker.
The way I figure it, sitting on the toilet and squatting, and the stances thereunto pertaining, are all natural functions of life.

When people question knees/toes out when I'm squatting/talking about squatting I use how they're sitting or standing as an example. If I'm sat down with my feet some way apart, my toes will go out more and more. It the natural alignment, and is most friendly for the squat.
I'll point at the feet of the person I'm having a discussion with and their feet will, 95% of the time, be in said position. Your knees just upper leg/knees just track over the toes to keep even downward pressure on the knee.
I'm explaining something that I think is in the book, so most of you will have read it or will have read the correct version of what I'm saying - ie my knowledge of the exact anatomy is far from perfect. But, I find this a good way to explain to people, though usually they won't be sat on the toilet when I'm pointing out their feet.
I've noticed this too. I've also noticed that when I stand up from the toilet seat I do it the same way as a low bar squat - lean way forward and drive the hips up.

I make a conscious effort to use hip drive whenever I get up from a chair.

since joining this forum, i found myself adopting the rack pull stance more... I guess I like dropping my bombs from 2 feet high, like a ww2 dambusters.

Has anyone used their belt during a hard BM?
I did, was having one of those "it's never going to come out!" moments. Thought, what about the belt? Worked like a charm. :)
Just saying...

I noticed that I often grip the steering wheel with a mixed-grip and it's the same hands over and under as when I deadlift. Some things just feel natural.
