I know nothing of a singlet, but apparently I need one to make sure that the guy that is deciding if I am lifting good can see all the things that need to be seen to decide if I am lifting good.

Thinking of entering a meet next month, have no idea about singlets.

Are they cheap?

Are they sized by the weight of the man?

Will it make me look fat?

Where can I find one like the Pizz used to wear that looks like a speedo?

Quite frankly, it seems pizz was somewhat of an exhibitionist:

If you want to go for that look, you may as well wear regular swimming speedo's, but I am not sure that it would be allowed.

I think wrestling singlet's would be the most easy to get & the best value.

I just ordered an Inzer, and that's how they do theirs. Around 230 lbs is the cutoff between XL and XXL. About $30 for a plain, no-logo singlet.

I think it's better to error large. I bought an XL at 230, damn. It feels like I'm going to rip it apart getting it up over my shoulders. So if you are borderline on sizes, I would go big. I got mine at Sports Authority, it's just a regular wrestling singlet.

I got mine from Inzer when I got my belt. I like it. I got red. XXL because I'm about 250. My wife thinks I look funny in it. I should put it on and press her. She's sitting over there. Hmm...
