Looking for some guidance...I live in seacoast New Hampshire, and am trying to locate a place where I can purchase bulk frozen steaks on the cheap. An internet search doesn't turn up anything, except for beef sides (I would have nowhere to put that sort of thing). Anybody have any ideas?

Have you looked at Costo or BJ's warehouse? Not the best quality, but the price is always right and you get to see what you are buying before you pay for it.

Most butchers are willing to haggle 10-15% off if you're buying in bulk. Still wont be quite as cheap as discount supermarket steaks, but the quality is a hell of a lot higher.

Do you have a spare freezer? A medium size off a Craigslist.org would run pretty cheap, if you buy a whole side and pay a little more they will cut it up to manageable bits for you, usually. I live in Mystic CT and we have Salem Prime Cuts which is a little far for you, but maybe they can help direct you.

Why not get it direct from distributor/slaughterhouse?

If you do not want to do your own butchering, then of course you are going to have to get it from a supermarket or butcher.
