This is my version of a chicken cassarole...I simplified an old recipe my mom had.

Ingredients:

Whole Chicken (700 cals) 128g protein
Box of Cornbread Stuffing 8 oz) (1280 cals)
Family Size can of Cream of Mushroom Soup (600 cals)
8 oz bag of Cheese (880 cals) 48g protein
Bay leaves

Get a big ol' stockpot, boil water, add bay leaves, salt & pepper or whatever spices.

Place chicken in pot, making sure that it is completely submerged. Cook for about an hour and 15 minutes. Drain and let cool.

Pull meat off the chicken.

Get a cassarole dish, add stuffing, cream of mushroom and chicken. Mix well until everything is moist.

Pour cheese on top.

Put it in the oven at 400 for about 30-40 minutes until cheese bubbles.

Don't forget to eat some for Dastardly...

How does a whole chicken only have 128g of protein? Is this a 90s Small chicken?

Maybe the Daily Plate info I'm using is way off, but I'm getting ~60g just from one chicken breast.

I don't know either...I was looking somewhere at per pound unit yield...

It seems low to me too.

I stand in front of the poultry section chanting BIIIIIG BIIIIIRD where are you BIIIIIIG BIIIIIIRD...

then I pick the heaviest one.

How many grams do you think are in my chicken?

I hope you're saving all of that awesome home made chicken stock for other things. It makes other food delicious!

I already eat at least a third of a chicken whenever I eat chicken. In addition to a second course of something else.

I dont think I would like to eat the same meal three times in a day though.
