I am no stranger to knee pain, I have heard that knee sleeves help because they keep your knees warm. But doesn't knee pain come from inflammation? And to reduce inflammation we should use ice right? So why not put your knee sleeves in the freezer and wear them cold while you workout.... would this help prevent knee pain?

just a thought

No. One of, amongst many other, the problems with knees, or any joint, is that they're difficult to warm up. Ligaments/tendons are not very vascular and don't get much blood flow to them to get them warmed up. Cold joints when lifting is a recipe for injury.

It's fine to cool them when you're not lifting to reduce inflammation, but if they're warmed up adequately, then we hope that they don't get irritated enough to become inflamed in the first place.
