39 year old male
6'0" 197lbs currently
Doing the SS novice program and I finished session 5 of 24 yesterday.
Test weights are:
225lb BS
145lb BP
295lb DL
155lb PC
100lb SP
During the squats last night I noticed this sharp pain that feels like it's under the right scapula and it happens during the concentric part of the movement. Also, the same pain occurred after getting up from the bench press, not while loaded. There was a slightly dull ache afterwards when I breathed in deeply.
I'm in Canada so it's not a big deal to see a doc but everyone is telling me to go to a chiropractor instead. It was uncomfortable sleeping on my back last night but not a sharp pain.
Any ideas on what this is?

edit - guess it was my SI acting up because of tight hip flexors and hams. Everything on my hips were super tight then the pain. Icing and sports massage is fixing it up.
