I work as a high rise window cleaner. I spend most of the day in a cage type thing that hangs from the side of buildings, it can get pretty toasty up there. I will drink a couple of litres of water in summer - just wondering if I can flat out replace the water with milk to help get my GOMAD down each day. Will this be enough hydration?

I just keep thinking of that scene from Anchorman. "It's so hot! (glug glug glug) Milk was a baaaad choice."

I would make sure you can digest whatever quantity of milk you plan on drinking. Finding out that two liters of milk gives you the squirts on the outside of a 45 story building might not be a comfortable circumstance for you... or whatever unlucky pedestrian happens to be on the sidewalk below you :P

I don't know. Out in the heat of day I wouldn't want to drink milk. I would actually want a watered down powerade to rehydrate.

LOOOOOOOL I was thinking the same thing.

If you can keep your milk cold, then sure...

I more or less drink a gallon already. But I also drink 2 litres of water a day. Thats 6 litres of liquid each day. Just want to know if you are drinking GOMAD does that cover the reccommended 2 litres of water each day.

Surely does - milk is 80-90% water. 1 Gallon corresponds to about 3.7 liters. So 80-90% of 3.7.

Yes. When I was on GOMAD, I never drank water. But as soon as I stopped GOMADing, I was so damn thirsty all the time, I had to start drinking water again.

This doesn't answer any of your questions but I saw the window cleaning episode of Dirty Jobs. Wow, I was getting nervous just watching it. You got to have balls for that job...

There's no reason why not if your body responds well to that much milk. Consider yourself lucky if it does. If you were more like me, drinking that much milk would make you morbidly obese.
