Costa Mesa Seminar - Driving from Bay Area(San Fran) - Carpool or share hotel room?

I live in San Francisco and will be going to the Costa Mesa in March. Does anyone need a ride, or want to carpool to split gas costs? I'm willing to drive, and have room for 3 more people and all their luggage in my car (it's a mid-size SUV). It would also be nice to meet new people from around the Bay.

Also, does anyone here want to share a hotel room? I haven't booked a room yet, but plan on getting one within the next couple of weeks, hopefully with 2 beds.

Or if anyone here lives in the vicinity and would let me crash on their couch, it'd be much appreciated, and I could throw you some money :)

Haven't heard from anyone yet, but in case someone is still interested, I've already booked a hotel room for Friday and Saturday night at the Travelodge Costa Mesa, located only 1.7 miles from the seminar: 1951 Newport Boulevard, Costa Mesa, CA 92627

I plan to leave San Francisco sometime around 9-10 AM, and drive back from Costa Mesa after the seminar Sunday night. No one from the Bay Area needs a ride / is also going?
