Andy,

I'm hoping you can give some insight - I'm preparing for my first meet (raw) on March 31. I'm a competitive person, but I know that I'm just doing this one for the experience.

I'm 29/508/195 and my current bests (not 1RM, just the most I've done while training) are:
Squat: 335 x 3, 355 x 1 - hoping for 400 at the meet
Bench: 265 x 1 (paused) - hoping for 285
Deadlift: 445 x 1 - hoping for 475

My set up is mostly Texas Method (OH Press is still 3 x 5)

Monday:
Squat 5x5

Wednesday:
Bench 5x5
Squat 2x5 (light)

Friday:
Squat 1x3 followed by one or two heavy singles
OH Press 3x5
Deadlift heavy singles

Sunday:
Bench 1x3 (touch and go), followed by a couple of paused singles

I've just dropped 1 set from my bench volume day and will likely drop another as I head into March. My squats feel great, so I'm going to continue 5x5 probably into March and then I'll start cutting back.

Do you see any glaring issues? I'm feeling good right now and I'm not really worried about "peaking" for the meet, I just don't want to be overtrained going into it.

Thanks

Going into a meet I like to use the Friday intensity day as a "mock meet". So squat/bench/dead all for singles. Press on Weds recovery day after some light squats. Volume day is squats and bench for 5x5. That is basically what I do....It doesn't look too far off from what you are currently doing now.
