View Full Version : 4 Day Split TM Variation

Hi,

At first, here are my stats:

Age 43
BW 186/Height 6.05
1 RM's:
Press 150
Bench 250
Squat 310
DL 350

I have followed SS for a while and then switched to a classic TM alternating Bench/Press for 3 months. Monday Volume Day just became too long for my liking so I picked up a program based on something Rip recommended somewhere before.
Monday: Squat 5x5, Bench 5 singles
Tuesday: Powerclean&Press 3x5, Chinups 3 Sets
Thursday: Squat 5 singles, Bench 3-5x5
Friday: Deadlift 1x5, Press 3rm+Backoff Set

I have incorporated Heavy Dips into this before on either monday or thursday but am not entirely sure yet where to really put them.
I also put in Pendlay Rows last Friday but am not sure if I should replace them with Pullups. I seem to recover well from pulling work in general.

I'd appreciate any suggestions from you guys.

This is fine. U could also do an upper/lower split. Don't stress over where to put assistance. Just fit it in a sport where you have time for it and where it isn't interfering with a big lift later in the week.
