Hello,

1 to 2 nights a week, Friday or Saturday or both, I work as a pedicabber/bike rickshaw driver. So for about 4-6 hours a night I pull 1-3 people at a time on a trailer behind my bike, depending on the number of rides I can get.

I have been stalling on my LP program (Note: Haven't been pedicabbing for a few months leading up to this stall). I am now looking to move forward with an intermediate program.

My questions:
Am I right to think that combining this job with the Texas Method might be too much for my legs to recover from to make consistent progress?
Would I be better off considering the 5/3/1 program instead, since squats are once, maybe twice a week?
Do you have any ideas for balancing this job with programming for strength gains?

I appreciate it.

There is just no way to know for sure. You will just have to try it and see.

If your instincts are telling you it is going to be way too much then just go with a split routine (which is what 5/3/1 is). Then you can put your squat deadlift days where ever they are affected the least.
