You have mentioned that Power Cleans improve the Deadlift. How does this happen? The Power Clean is only moved quickly after the bar passes the knees and is in the position to 'jump'. When you power clean you lift the bar of the ground slowly and than accelerate it. The explosive part of the power clean starts when the deadlift finishes. Am I missing something here?
Another question-I find it hard to do a large volume of power cleans on the volume day of the Texas Method. After doing 5X5 heavy for both bench and squat I find my Power Clean performance is pretty sub-par.Is there anyway to get around this?
