hey mark. in SSv2, you say the main difference between the 2 is that chinups incorporate more biceps, and as a result, pullups have more lat involvement.

however, why can most people do more chinups than pullups? lats are a bigger and stronger muscle than biceps, so if they are used more actively in pullups than in chinups, shouldn't it be the opposite way around?

If you leave out a muscle group, it doesn't matter how big the other ones are. The ones that remain have to work harder (get more work), but the addition of another muscle group will make any exercise stronger.
