    maybe from chalk.
I've heard some people react to that stuff?

When I went thru a phase of LBBS 3x per week, I had a line across my back at first . . . I did NOT have the problem with the bar moving around.
It went away after a while.

The bar stays still on my back.... maybe friction burns is the wrong word.

I think I burned my neck slightly the other day so maybe the bar is just not letting it heal fully. It must be something like that since clearly friction burns from squats arent a thing haha woops

Yes. This was actually my first thought. Maybe it is from the clothing.

Are you rubbing up and down against the bar trying to get it in the right place?
