John have you ever noticed that Kevin Durant stole your DL shimmy and does it before he shoots a free throw?
HA! I actually have not noticed that, but I will make sure to check it out. I think it is time to patent my shimmy. If KD is doing it on his free throws, I think I should be entitled to some sort of compensation.

    I rest my case.
    Thanks, Oldster.

    Chins - BWx8x3

Pretty happy with how the CGBPs moved. All of the singles were paused and the back-offs were touch and go.

Right. It was your idea and they stole it. You are owed significant compensation. The Winklevoss Twins got $65 million so that's a good starting point

I could live with 65 million. That sounds about right.

    SLDL - 135x4, 225x4, 315x4, 365x4
    Chins - BWx8x2

I was supposed to do multiple triples at 450 on squats and go heavier on my SLDLs, but my back was pretty twingy and just did not want to push things. I tweaked my back a few weeks ago oddly enough from dropping off the chin-up bar after a set. I was doing them in between my squats and deadlifts and something about that combination irritated my back that day. It is nothing major, just trying to be careful with it. Since Thursday, I have been a little under the weather. Going to be taking a deload this week.

I've done that "wrong landing" thing before. Why does that happen? It's one of those things I could never figure out. Therefore, I don't know how to avoid it. When it happened to me, it really messed up my squat walk out and lock out. I had to walk out very gingerly which forced the weights to be much lighter. Also, I had to use a soft lockout. Very annoying thing. Anyway, I hope it goes away quickly for you John and you can get back to your scheduled plan.

    starting strength coach development program
Thanks, guys. I fell behind a little bit this past week or so, but I did another deload session last Friday and trained again on Tuesday. I have not been feeling great the past two weeks or so and was finally able to get to the doctor yesterday and got diagnosed with strep throat. I got prescribed some antibiotics, so hopefully things turn around in the next few days. In the meantime, I am going to take a little step back and rebuild over the next few sessions as I have just felt pretty beat up lately. I am planning on competing again in October, so my prep for that will begin more seriously in August.

    Squat - 45x20, 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 275x1, 315x1, 365x1, 405x5x3
    Bench - 45x10, 95x5, 135x5, 185x3, 225x2, 275x1, 300x5x3
    Chins - BWx10x3

    Not terrible.
