    They were an effort to fix my lower back proprioception. I had gotten into the habit of relaxing my lumbar spine. Ick. We got rid of that. I hated the Zerchers, though. I don't know if they contributed. Robert kept saying "Do you feel your lower back now?" and I would say "Not particularly." This frustrated him. Related note: I was the lower back wombat at my seminar. #notanathlete.

    Today;

    I've been delinquent on logging. Sorry.

    Today I did halting deadlifts, 470x5
    SLDL 315x5x3
    Press lockouts 192.5x5x3
    CGBP 320x6x3. Should I try CGBP for 405? I think I could do it.
    Pullups, BW+43x8x3

    I think the deadlifts are coming along. I think I've got PRs in me, but haven't done a limit deadlift since Omaha. Trusting the process.

    Don't feel too bad. I haven't updated mine in three weeks.

    Hi Karl. I saw your box squat video. May I ask the purpose? I ask because it appeared you were using the "box" as a depth gauge perhaps? You certainly weren't sitting on it as one usually thinks of box squatting.

    Thank you for your time. I've just begun looking at your training. You're a strong fellow!

    The box is a target for my rear end so that I sit back in the squat. It helps me get my back angle set correctly. Otherwise I tend to come down too vertical and get knee slide.
