    Bug seems to be subsiding a bit. Felt fatigued from Thursday's session today though.

    Comp squat - up to 240 x 1 @ 7.5, e1RM 265kg - ok with that given I pulled a 5 rep PR 48 hours ago

    Then 215 x 5 @ 8, 195 x 5 @ 7.5

    TnG close grip bench - up to 160 x 1 @ 7.5, e1RM 174kg. 132.5 x 6 x 5 @ 6 - 8.5 on 3 min clock

    Bench slightly off expectations. Should bounce back ok though.

    Comp bench Monday. Felt fatigued from the first warm up - guess under recovered from Saturday benching 6x6. Need to keep light day a bit lower stress.

    Comp Bench - up to 172.5 x 1 @ 8 (maybe 8.5), e1RM 187kg

    TnG - 147.5 x 4 x 5 @ 6.5 - 8.5 - narrowed grip a finger width after the first set felt awkward. Worked ok, much smoother. Had planned more sets but decided to cap volume.

    Work, sickness, life and general apathy blew up my training week. Got back under the bar this afternoon.

    Beltless squat - 190 x 5 x 5 @ 5-6.5 - pleased with how easy these were on 3 mins rest. Maybe the break from lifting did me some good.

    CG TnG bench - up to 120 x 8 x 4 @ 6 - 8.5 - fatigue set in fast as usual

    Beltless DL, straps and Oly shoes - 175 x 5 x 3 @ 6-7.5

    Felt awful the last two days. Tired and sore, lots of joint pain. Not sure what's going on. Dragged myself to do a bit of work tonight regardless.

    Comp bench - 155 x 1, 165 x 1, 170 x 1 @ 7.5, 157.5 x 3 x 2 @ 7.5, 8; 152.5 x 3 x 3 @ 7-8

    Slowly starting to feel less like crap each day. Taking a light week to avoid adding fatigue. At Twickenham for the 7s on Saturday though, which is going to fuck my recovery right up.

    Did some Pressing tonight, and felt good enough to go heavy.

    - 102.5kg x 1 @ 6.5
    - 112.5kg x 1 @ 8.5 (PR)
    - 115kg x 1 @ 9.5 (PR)
    - 100kg x 5 @ 8.5 (PR)

    253lb top single, happy with that for only my 5th time Pressing since 9th Feb.

    Then 200 x 5 @ 7 - I did a very easy, beltless, 190 x 5 x 5 five days ago and now 200 belted is a fairly tough set.

    Pin Press, chest high - 160 x 1 @ 6.5, 170 x 1 @ 9 - right hand side bar path screwed up off the chest. I guess the fact that I'm pissed off at a 170kg pin press being @ 9 instead of @ 8 is indicative of progress.

    Then 135 x 6 x 3 @ 7-7.5

    Last night's benching:

    Comp bench up to 172.5 x 1 @ 8.5, then 162.5 x 2 x 4 @ 7-7.5

    Touch n Go, 162.5 x 4 @ 9.5 (failed 5th rep halfway up) Still a 10kg PR for 4 reps, after doing a few doubles.

    Shitty session this morning. Oh well.

    Comp DL - up to 230 x 1 @ 7, 240 x 1 @ 9

    Then planned 200 x 5 x 3 @ 7-8. First set went 200 x 3 @ 8.5 - called it. Took a lot of weight off. 175 x 5 @ 7.5

    Stopped there.

    Close grip bench - 100 x 10 x 4 - just getting some blood flowing for dem tris.

    Very tired at the moment and lots of work stress. Need to get some rest. Four Nations meet is eight weeks on Saturday so should be time to get my numbers back into PRsville if I can get recovery sorted.

    starting strength coach development program
    Comp squat - up to 240 x 1 @ 7.5-8 - moved slow but was pretty comfortable. Just seemed to lack some pop. At least my squat is slowly coming back I think.

    Then 205 x 5 @ 7, 185 x 5 @ 5

    Slingshot bench - up to 170 x 1 @ 2, 180 x 1 @ 6 (e1RM 209kg), 195 x F - got greedy, paused a fraction too long at the bottom and killed the lift halfway up. Still, unracking 195kg was pretty cool in itself. It felt heavy but not crushing.

    Then 175 x 3 x 3 @ 7.5 - 8.5

    Very, very, sweaty
