    RDL's - 225x5x4 (needs to be a higher rep movement, like 8's)

    off to florida for a week, im gonna be as lazy as possible and not even think about training

    Squat - 355x5, 345x5x2, 225x15
    I was supposed to do a top set of 355x5 (which I did, the one bright spot of today) followed by 4 drop sets of around 340-345. nope

    Bench Press - 225x5x2, 185x15
    By now these felt dreadful, 225 is no where near working weights so i said fuck it and did a burnout set to end my day. no DL's today no way.

    *Ill take the top set of squats as a victory, (even though they were ugly) considering I spent 14 hours in airports yesterday and havent trained or taken any protein in a week, and im underfed and tired. Oh well, Ill get back on it and do my L and M days this week then hit heavy weights next monday.

    Light Squat - 275x5x3
    Press - 172x5x3 (cant decide between v1 and v2. any opinions???)
    Power Cleans - 185x3x3

    squats really easy. press always hard, i never seem to be able to get past the 172-177 range for fahves. I know the reason why: I only press 1x/week. Just not willing to empahsize press over bench, especially 6 weeks out from competition. my weight chills around 225-230 so im all good for 231.5lb weight class. getting a little nervous and really gonna make a push for some gainz the next 4-5 weeks. i want to be squatting 365x5x5 4 weeks from now. as it sits right now a 1200 total seems realistic, 1250 tops.

    BW = 230

    Squat - 315x5x3
    close grip bench - 250x5x3
    paused DL - 340x5x3

    squats were easy but im having difficulty keeping my back rigid in the hole, I have a tendency to let the weight "crush" me into my legs so my chest is basically resting on top of my quads which is shit technique. Need to work on setting my back the first half of decsent then keep it still so when im in the hole im letting the tension in my hips spring me back up.

    Paused DL's are a bitch, they are more endurance than strength.

    Today is my 4 year wedding anniversary with my wife. She made me a 5 course meal. what a woman

    DL - 405x3

    no video bc my computer is broken. sucks bc i think all three lifts are 3rep PR's. everything felt pretty good, squats maybe got off mid foot on a rep or two, still needs work on hip drive and stretch reflex. sushi time!

    Personal preference, as you know. From the video, the first set (using press 2.0) looked cleaner, but the second (using press 1.5) looked more powerful. If you've had shoulder problems in the past, err on the side of cleaner. If not, maybe try the 1.5 for a while. Watch Wolf's press videos- that's the technique he uses.

    light squat - 280x5x3
    press (v2) - 172x5x3 (felt better with wrist wraps)
    pendlay rows - 225x5
    chins amrap- 10@bw=229

    good light day, i set up my pendlays just like i would a DL to get practice, i even try to hook grip it even though its light just for the feelz.
    working on camera situation so i can film my session again...in the mean time my wife has been off the charts with the meals shes been cooking lately so i should have no trouble keeping the weight on til sept.
