    7/5

SGDL: up to 445x6 @ RPE 7ish, 410x6x2 last set RPE 7-7.5 (4 mins between sets) *I went fast on these today since I had to get to Summerfest. :-) I used a normal power bar instead of the DL bar to save on more time. I might stick with it because it saves my legs from getting cut up from the aggressive knurling.

    Yates Rows: 225x8x3

    Pulldowns: 175x8, 187.5x8, 200x8

7/7 *Ok, I have a few updates since I got some numbers and pics today. I had the nurse check my arm and thigh sizes. I was 20.125" on the arm (cold and flexed) and 32" on the thigh (mid thigh, cold and flexed). My BW was 352.8 which is where it has been hovering the past few weeks. I was down to 335#, but I ate over the holidays and haven't tried to lose it. I may not though, and just maintain where I am at. I am feeling pretty good, and my pressing strength was way up today. Here are the pics at the gym:

*My pics sucks, but this last one really had my delts popping out. Of course the pic doesn't show it that well. :-)

OHP: up to 190x6 RPE 6ish, 180x6x2 RPE was 6.5 for first set and 6 for second. I took 3 minutes between sets today, since it felt fast and light. Rainbow in the Dark was playing for the last set, so really it was RPE 0 because you can lift for rep anything while that song is playing. This is a marked improvement from a few weeks ago when this weight was tough. Bleeding off some fatigue has been helping.

    1 ARM DB Press: 40'sx8, 45'sx8, 50'sx8

    Tricep Extensions (overhead, rope): 150x10x3

Face Pulls: 160x12x3 *I took 90 seconds between all assistance sets after supersetting DB Hammer Curls w/ 35's (4 sec eccentrics) after each set.

High Bar Close Stance Squat: up to 400x6 RPE 6.5ish, 360x6x2 last set RPE 6.5-7 (4 mins between sets) *These felt pretty good.

    Leg Press: 300x10x2, 300x8

    Leg Curls: 180x10x2, 180x8

Abs: 185x12x3 *Stuck with about 90 seconds between supersets. I did DB Hammer Curls (4 second eccentric) with 35's x8's and then 40's x 8's.

What do you think of the .500 caliber, Les? Is that a 4" barrel? I can't tell by the angle.

I ask because I used to own two high grade Freedom Arms revolvers in .50 AE. They were incredibly accurate, the 7 1/2" Model with a 4x scope was capable of 2" at 100 yards, the shorter 4 3/4" barrel kept the inside 1.5" at 50, the best my eyes can do. I cast my own bullets and used a custom made mold to throw them at 420 grains. I shot them at 1470 feet per second from the longer barrel, 1420 with the shorter. These were hunting pistols and used for nothing else, outside of target practice. In five years I probably shot 10K rounds in total through the two revolvers.

I like the .500 quite a bit. That is the 4" barrel. It does have some kick, but if you practice with it enough you can get pretty accurate. I don't shoot nearly enough, but I can put an ok pattern into the Styrofoam plate at the distance I was shooting in the pic (40ft?). If I shot more, it would pay for me to learn to reload, because the store ammo is about $2 per round. After shooting the .500, going to the Glock is very different. I almost over brace myself for the kick, and I am inaccurate the first couple shots, until I realize I can relax a lot more with it.

But if you are putting those groupings together at 50 and 100 yards, that is really impressive! I would need to practice a lot more to get anywhere near that.
