I can't understand why this essential training aid is in the clearance section........

Anyone seen anything like this actually being used? !
Yeah, they are a PT tool to address shoulder issues by isolating and strengthening the rotator cuffs. A couple years ago I hurt my neck and shoulder in judo and I used them with the PT. He even talked me into buying one myself through his facility (180€). Didn't do a thing and most other judo guys reported the same thing.

Watched a guy come in and put 15lbs on one side of the bar and 10lbs on the other, for a total of 70lbs, then OHP with horrible form (probably because there was more weight on one side of the bar). I was about to go over and mention it to him when he turned around and OHP from the other side of the barbell, so that he was now using the opposite side for the heavier side.

He did 5 sets like this.

I'm not sure what the point was. If you are trying to work one side harder than the other why would you then switch? If you want to work both sides equally why not put the same amount of weight on both ends?

It's an eleet variation. Works the core stabilizers far better. Dr Been could explain its effect on torque management as well.

I can't find the specific thread I was thinking of but it looks like there have been a couple from guys who couldn't figure out how to lower the bar without either knocking their kneecaps off or swinging it away out from their body. I sort of imagine this is what their deadlift form looks like.
