    11-10: mon

    Deadlift - 135,135,200,242,286,312x5 *just loosening the back up and testing ankle
    Bench (close grip, feet up) - 135x10; 176,200x5; 217,247,275x3; 285x5 *felt solid, easy

    Slightly rolled the same fucking ankle walking the dog before lifting!! Fuck me. I'm throwing these Romeos away, they are fucking cursed. It's not near as bad, I'll ice it and squat tomorrow. Didn't hit any extra work so I can hopefully have enough tricep strength to press tomorrow or wed.

    Bench (close grip, feet up) - 135x10; 176,200,230x5, 260x3, 287x5

    Haven't lifted since last Monday since it was late buck season. I didn't get shit. But any day in the woods is a good day...well I suppose being butt-raped in the woods, or getting shot, or something to that extent would not be considered a good day. But better than having the same thing happen in the city. Sorry, Buffalo Trace tangent.
    My fucking back and hip are killing me from the little lay off. Squatting felt really good on it. Alleviated some sciatica. Bench felt good, but I wanted one more rep on the last set. Anyways, no more distractions, just training for the Feb meet.

    DL - 135,225,315x5, 376,433,473,501x1 *fast and angry

    I was drunk, and pissed. Everything felt great, heaviest I've gone since the injury. My neighbors think I'm nuts, but I felt great afterwards.

    Press - lots of light sets of 10

    Just hitting an opener for Saturdays mock meet with my training partners. Figured doing it after a little volume would be good. A 420lb guy I work with joined us. Excited to see him lean out a lot, and get strong. Just had him do sumo DL and press. Didn't have the ROM for anything else.

    11-29: sat, frozen mock meet

    Squat - 420/440/pass
    Bench - 295/309/330 (fucking near miss)
    DL - 450/490/510

    Well, didn't go as planned. We were all sick, and freezing our ass off. 27 degrees in my uninsulated garage sucked. But we all agreed on today weeks ago, so on we went.
    Back was hurting, so I went light on squats and did high bar on my second. Not sure why I missed the 330 bench, it was flying up, and just died at lockout. Pretty pissed about that. By the time we got to deads, I was done. Pulled my glute on second, so lowered my 3rd from 530, and glad I did.
    Overall, I guess it went well considering the conditions. I didn't miss anything due to the commands. 3 of the guys missed lifts they killed because they didn't wait for rack commands, I guess that's the point of a mock meet.

    starting strength coach development program
    Spent last week just squatting 135 and doing mobility shit. Trying to loosen up my back, and kick a cold.

    12-9: tue

    BS - 135,200,275,315,355x5
    BP (close-grip) - 135x10, 176,198,242,264x5

    Just hit moderate weights today, moved fast through everything. I'll have to start hitting it hard again next week.
