then I did my run for the day: 32 minutes, ~3.2 miles. the area around the gym is nice because it's the campus and there are trees and stuff, but it's also pretty hilly.

right knee felt pain when crouching before picking up bar on cleans. that top layer of stuff just below the kneecap. No good. Probably just a little stressed. will watch it.

I somehow cut my finger during this, so I wasn't going to do any pulls or anything, so I just went home. I was also a little drained. I've been losing 1.5-2# per week for several weeks, I've been running, I ran 4.5 miles earlier today, so maybe that interfered with the legwork, but this kind of felt like a little bit of a limit, and that's fine in a good way. So I will have to think about how my training will accommodate the goal of dropping off some weight while trying to maintain as much strength and muscle as possible.

got out of position on the second press. thought this was a fine level of activity for the day, I'm just kind of trying to keep things low volume but hitting the intensity for a couple weeks as I try to lose a little more weight. Right now at around 225.

ran half an hour this morning. walked to and from work. stopped at gym on way home from work bench 220x2 180x4,4,4,8 thumbless hammer kurlz 50x5 pulldown machine (like a hammer strength thing) +60x15 (per hand)
