I'm out of town for the week and likely won't be able to lift. Hoping that doesn't derail the PR train.

    Squat: 315 x 3s x 5r
    Press: 175 x 2 x 2
    Press: 155 x 1s x 5r

Traveling. Food and sleep are off. Only a minute to grab a quick workout. Press felt HEAVY.

Press is a tricky bitch. Good on you for getting your lifting in.

Getting in and doing something, even if it isn't groundbreaking always help keep momentum. Enjoy your travel and come back for some more bench awesomeness!

Looks like I'm on schedule. Finally can quit wearing my brace but have plenty of rehab in my future before I have full use and strength back. Good luck getting your lifts in while travelling.

Congrats on the bench! I remember you were stuck at 225 there for a bit. Way past that now.

And I'm gonna catch up to you eventually on the bench. Press may take awhile as you're way out ahead of me. And I've got years to make up on the Hector Press.

    Thanks!
Yeah. 225 was an obstacle forever. Even when I built up to it, life would happen, I would miss benching for a few weeks, and then inordinate amounts of progress would be lost. Then I'd build back up to 225, and the cycle would repeat.
Hoping to permanently be above 225 now.

Gains come incredibly fast on the Hector press. Much faster on any actual barbell lifts.

Thanks! Those doubles at 175 were grinders, when only recently triples were so easy!
