Yeah those side delt raises are kinda humbling eh.... They do make your shoulders burn even with light weights. Nice work man!

The upper back workout is a decent one. I really enjoyed the supplementary one he programmed in a week or two back which was almost the same. Doing mine tonight.

Are you doing an Andy Baker program?

Hey John, I was wondering where you were. Still lifting?

Yeah, a hybrid LP/Baker Barbell Club. Since I was out for ~6 mos I'm LP'ing back to decent strength. But I'm including the accessory work from the BBC program. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

Been on and off for a bit, mostly off, and then rerunning LP to restart. About to restart again. Had done nothing worth logging on here. Mostly time factors plus motivation/discipline.

    Why 6 months off?

Why 6 mos? TL/DR was time factors plus motivation/discipline . Longer answer is I took a detail in my job with longer hours and a long commute. It was originally supposed to be for 45 days. I figured it wouldn't hurt for a short break and I wanted to focus on the job. Due to the fed hiring freeze it lasted 5 months (and would have continued if I didn't have other commitments). Then I had two weeks vacation and then 2.5 weeks of travel.

    Glad to see you back.

SLDL 2" deficit 225x3, 245x3x2 First time ever for SLDL or deficit deads, so these were interesting. I probably could have done a little more weight, but my lower back is fried enough.
DB RDL 51 (ea)x8x6 First time with RDLs or DB DL too. I definitely could have gone heavier but that's all my cheap adjustable DB can handle.
Supersetted with barbell calf raises 135x20,155x20x2 and Roman Chair knee raises 3x15. Definitely could have gone heavier on calf raises.
I really didn't feel like doing 3x5 on my mini-LP this morning, so this was a very welcome change.
