    Bandana man turned up for a session of quarter squats. He seemed to be enjoying it and I have to say it looks a lot easier than these darned LLBS that Rippetoe persuaded me to do.

    Well, sod bugger and f$£@$£$ everything.

    Deadlift 20x10 60x5 80x3 100x2 120x1 130.5x4 £$%@ it up the @£$ with a donkey's @£$@£$er that last rep just wouldn't come up, I had two goes and got it to hitching level, but that was it. so 130.5x1 after a rest. then 97.5x5x2 Do I add weight or try again ? dunno, I'll think about it next week.

    Press 20x5x2 30x5 40x3 45x1 47.5x1 50x5x5 got that at least, heels together and minimal back bend, no limbo here.

    Rushed it today, late to gym.

    Bench 20x5x2 40x5 50x3 60x2 70x1 80x1 83.5x5 some guy tried to spot me at rep 3 I growled "No, Go!" and he went. then avoided me. Result! 75x5x2

    Cleans 20x2 40x1 50x1 56x3x5

    Rows 62.5x5x4

    Some incline dumbbell bench and a couple of overhead squats as I'd made up some of the lost time.

    It's tempting to just keep increasing the top set and forget about bringing the other two up. I'll think about it.

    Squat 20x5 40x5 60x3 80x2 90x1 100x1 110.5x2 knee pain, set stopped. It might be time to start packing the insole of my left shoe to provide a tilt.

    Okay, I paid the price for overloading this. Scratch the over warm up and get back to the rate of progress I should have had.

    Hang snatch 20x2 22.5x2 25x2x2 27.5x2x2 30x2x2 some of these were more like power snatches followed by a squat, but it's progress back in January I couldn't overhead squat the empty bar.

    Now my damned press is failing.

    Press 20x5x2 30x5 40x1 45x1 50x1 52.5x1 55x1 54x2 TWO !! 52.5x3 this is getting worse 50x3x3 Felt terrible

    Squat 20x5x2 40x5 603 80x2 90x1 100x1 105x1 110.5x5x3 Videod sets. Need more knees out and hips down. Leaning over too quickly and locking hamstrings with knees too far back.
