Time for a new log. The title of my old one only occasionally reflected my training thanks to accumulated injuries (hip, knee, back, wrist, ego). As it stands, I'd still like to get into olympic lifting as my primary focus, but that'll have to wait a bit until my wrist is 100% - so, broader title for broader strength training goals.

    I am: male, 31, currently weighing a fluffy, post-vacation 209, and 5'10" tall

    Best lifts:
    Front Squat 320
    Back Squat (high bar) 390
    Conventional DL 500
    Bench Press 285
    Press 190
    Power Clean 98kg/215lbs
    Clean & Jerk 90kg/198lbs
    Snatch 71kg/156lbs
    CoC #2 x 1 rep

I'd like to best all these numbers within a year and am going to kick off this log with a very short LP as I shake off the rust from vacation.

    NOTES:
Weight selection was good, but disappointing when these numbers feel 'heavy'

    NOTES:
    -Moving much better today
-Time to start tracking macros and slowly drop the weight below 200 so my sleep quality can improve. Around 205 seems to be the tipping point where my snoring gets unbearable according to my wife, and I can feel a negative impact with how rested I am

Alas, earplugs are already in use.

    NOTES:
-Everything was moving well today. Happy with this workout. Technique felt on point with squat, press, and deadlift.
-Last work set for squats felt like speed reps; completed in one breath. #cardio

Last squat work set (apologies for the lack of a shirt, but it was 10,000% humidity today...besides, the first rule of filmmaking is to know your audience, right? looking at you, Eric K):

How much time do you have for your LP before school starts back up?

I've got about four weeks. I'll probably move on to an intermediate program at that point as recovery resources will take a hit.
