    Ok got to baltimore later than expected

    5-15-2014. Test day

    Squat(sleeves and belt) to 435 pr+10 had a bit more but was happy with a pr and didn't want to risk a fail in a strange public gym. I was acutely aware of eyes on me.

    Bench to 265 pr+5( a little slow a definite 10.
    Back offs 225x2 2 ct pause. @9
    215x2@9

    Going to treat this next week as a GPP/ bro work week with whatever the boat has to offer.


    No deadlift due to time . I feel I should be able to hit 485 but I will have to prove it after the next cycle+ an additional 10#

    The metropolitan gym scene is entertaining, I could not do it all the time for sure.
    I was happy they had a monster rogue s3 rack so I had something somewhat familiar to work with today.

    Congrats on the PR's! Not a small accomplishment especially on the road at a globo gym. Have a great time on the boat.

    The road and air travel introduces some factors that I otherwise do not encounter.

    Nice job on the squat! It can be tough to lift in a different gym much less hit a PR.

    I am starting a new log in the competitive section due to program complexity, my slowed progression and my specific training goals. Definitely not due to my total.

    starting strength coach development program
    Just place holding this log, I had to dig up so I can start using it again.
    I will be going back to this log until I am ready to compete again. I am recovering from ac joint surgery and being in the competetive section is not appropritate for the training I am doing.
    It is a state of mind issue mostly and I am clogging up that forum with my rehab, I have a long road ahead. I will jump back up if and when I can schedule a meet.
