Very nice controlled 225 press.
But honestly I am even more impressed with the 565 SGDL.

It is just some good, clean fun.

In a van, over the river!
Military Press: 95x5, 135x3, 155x2, 175x2, density block: 185x27 in 9:51
Curls (strict): 95x5, 115x1, density block: 140x22 in 9:52
Time: NM (two density blocks with some E&Ping between then)
BW: NM
I had a blowout on my van this morning, on the way to work. Yada yada yada, I left work early to get it fixed. Which meant I got to train in my garage. It was a decent session. I almost got an extra press on, but finished it past the buzzer (at 10:03, to be specific). I'll have to get it next time. Curls were great, as always.

I start the timer first and then begin lifting.
@ JC: I want a 200lb curl something fierce. I don't particularly care what Rippetoe thinks or whether he programs them for lifters at his gym.

Rowing Machine: 18 minutes steady state at damper 6, 20spm (to metronome)
Excellent. This was a decent session. A lot of rowing sites (even the C2 manual) suggest higher stroke rates, 24-30). I like 20 spm as it feels pretty natural to me. We'll see how it is in a year from now.
Time to undo all of this nice cardio work by driving for a few hours and smoking a pipe.
I've found that 20 minutes is the absolute max I can do on a C2 before my ass falls asleep.
It can be pretty numbing.

Today's session was a mess. I trained at the "Anytime Fitness" in Acton, MA. A small, non-offensive globo gym. Presses were awful - the second warmup rep at 185 was almost a fail. The awfulness is due to awful sleep, and very long days standing around, doing testing. Next week will be better.
