    Hill sprints felt great today. Last week, by number 7, I was significantly slower. This week, even number 8 felt great.

    Not much to report today. Ended up not having time to bench - by the time I finished up my RDLs it was time to start getting ready for work.

    No sprints today. Mowed the lawn yesterday (a 1.5 hour affair) and am going to go to the airshow today, so there will be lots of walking around.

    Squat 2x5x45, 5x135, 3x185, 2x225, 3x5x240
    Close Grip Bench 10x45, 5x135, 3x5x230, 2x10x190
    Deadlift 5x135, 3x225, 1x315, 3x5x325

    Did this workout after work instead of before. Its amazing how much stronger I feel in the evening!! This was a pretty easy workout (as it should have been). The only problem was it was very hot in the garage. Did all 3 sets of the deadlift DOH, with no problem whatsoever. Wish I could work out in the evening all the time!

    Deadlift 5x135, 3x225, 2x315, 5x375 **New 5RM PR**

    Not a lot of sleep last night, but still satisfied with my workout. Squats felt pretty good, bench felt heavy (which is worrisome) and deads felt great. I had previously gotten 3 and 4 at this weight, but never 5. These were mixed grip.

    Chins going quite well. I've been able to add 1 or 2 reps each time. I hope this continues to at least 3x10. I'll probably start weighting them at that point.

    Very tired this morning. Even the squats felt heavy. Press felt pretty good, got hard by the 5th set. Barely finished the last rep.

    Battle Ropes 30s on/30s off x 6, 2 minute rest, repeat

    Picked up a chin today, but on the 4th set. Weird. Did battle ropes today instead of hill sprints. Man, battle ropes suck. In a good way. Goin for 3 blocks next time.

    Started off realllllly slow today. Felt very tired. Laid in bet for 5 minutes trying to justify staying in bed. At the end couldn't do it so got up. Pretty good day lifting. Everything felt pretty reasonable. I did all of my deadlift sets with the DOH grip, which I was excited about.

    Monday 8/3/15

    Squat 2x5x45, 5x135, 3x185, 2x225, 3x5x275

    Deadlift 5x135, 3x225, 2x315, 1x365, 5x385

    Squats felt great. Heavyish, but very doable. Bench felt very hard - barely got the 5th rep of the first and second set, and didn't attempt the 5th on the last because I knew I wasn't going to get it. I think I'm going to do regular bench on Fridays instead of close grip. I'd also like to get in a light day, but I don't want to give up the press. I suppose I could add it on to a Tuesday or Thursday, since the time between sets is pretty short. Deadlift felt great - definitely have some room on this one. Did the 365 and the 385 mixed grip. Getting close to 405, which I suppose is entry level, lol.
