    Completed my sixth day in a row at work and managed to get home a half hour early. Didn't waste it by sitting around; got right to training.

    First set was the toughest. Got over any apprehension of fatigue and did my sets of three.

    Warm up sets felt (mostly) good. Had the bar try to roll away from me after the first big rep but persevered and got my latest PR. Ready to go for 455lb at my next Push/Pull on the 10th.

    The main set felt pretty tough (hence why I only did two reps) but looking back at the footage I looked pretty strong. I'll go for three sets of three Tuesday. Either way I'm going to scale back to 320lb.

    Got a phone call before my last set. That and my IT band pain played a role in me cutting the last set short.

    My last deadlift session went so well I had decided to go for 460. The bar barely budged for me; doubt I would have done any better if I had gone with my originally planned 455lb. At least I got a 5lb contest PR.
