    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    135x5
    185x3
    235x1
    275x1

    Work:
300x5 -- I dive-bombed rep 5 and went too deep, but managed to pull it out.
    300x5
300x2+f -- Rep 1 was a grinder, which didn't bode well for finishing the set.

I think I'm going to move to 3x3 to run out the LP. I hope to get up to 325, but we'll see.

    Press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    65x5
    75x3
    85x1

    Work:
    97.5x5
    97.5x5
    97.5x5
    97.5x5
    97.5x5

Volume day for my TM-style press programming.

    Chins:
    4x4

    Light squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    135x5
    185x3
    225x1

    Work:
    240x5
    240x5
    240x5

I decided to go with light intensity instead of light volume. If I'm moving to 3x3, doing 3x2 at the same weight on light day doesn't make much sense.

I also reread the advanced novice section of SS:BBT, so now I'm debating doing 3x3 or 1x5 with 2x5 backoff sets. I'm leaning toward the backoff sets, as I'll at least be getting 1x5 at my top weight.

Oh, yeah, and I decided to give landscape mode a try to see if I would fit completely in frame at the distance I have to work with. Apparently I do.

    Bench press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    75x5
    105x3
    135x1
    155x1

    Work:
    165x5
    165x5
    165x5

    Deadlift:
    Warmup:
    135x5
    225x3
    315x1

    Work:
    315x5
    345x5

That 315x5 should actually have been 305x5 as a backoff set. I was surprised at how light 345 felt until I went to unload to 305 and realized that I'd forgotten to add weight after my last warmup set. D'oh! Oh, well, nothing for it but to load 345 and give it a try.

    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    135x5
    225x3
    255x1
    285x1

    Work:
    305x5
    285x5
    285x5

I was debating between 3x3 and backoff sets. I decided to go with backoff sets because fives. The backoff sets were hard but doable.

    Press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    75x5
    95x3
    105x1

    Work:
    117.5x1

Intensity day. The last rep was a minor grinder, but mostly because I let it get a bit ahead of me. I need to make sure to get my head under the bar quickly.

    Chins:
    6x3

    Squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    135x5
    225x3
    275x1
    295x1

    Work:
    310x5
    290x5
    290x5

I was a bit worried about 310 given that my 295 warmup felt really heavy, but I made it. Woohoo, 3 plates on Friday!

    Press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    75x5
    85x3
    95x1

    Work:
    100x5
    100x5
    100x5
    100x5
    100x5

Still trying to figure out the best place to put my phone for these videos. I don't have enough room to get all of me in from the front quarter in landscape mode, but I don't get a good feel for the bar path from the rear quarter. I think I'll just live with the limitations of the front quarter angle.

    Chins:
    7x3 (3 minutes rest)

The last set of chins I did was 6x3 on 4 minutes rest. I may cut down to 2 minutes rest next time in order to drive my work capacity up.

Yeah, that was the volume day for my TM-style presses. I figured OHP was the only lift I could manage TM-style with. I'm pretty sure TM squats would put me in the grave after the second week.

    Light squats:
    Warmup:
    45x15
    45x5
    135x5
    185x3
    225x1

    Work:
    245x5
    245x5
    245x5

    Bench press:
    Warmup:
    45x10
    45x5
    95x5
    135x3
    165x1

    Work:
    175x5
    175x5
    175x5

Still going with a 10-pound jump. These felt really heavy, but the camera shows they moved pretty quickly, so I may try for another 10-pound jump next week.

    Deadlift:
    Warmup:
    135x5
    225x3
    315x1

    Work:
    355x5
    315x5

I hook-gripped the first 3 reps at 315, then switched to mixed grip when my left thumb couldn't take it anymore.

This was a 10-pound jump from last week. I'm only 20 pounds from a PR, my best being 372.5x3 (I misloaded -- it should have been 375). I don't know that a 10-pound jump next week will go, but I'm tempted to try it. I should at least be able to get a few reps.

Damn straight, my back! It was pretty well smoked after these deadlifts.
