I don't know how anyone trains without caffeine, especially if they have a new addition to the family.

Do you have another pair of 45s on hand, ready for 405?

I normally always have caffeine, that was a rare day that I didn't. Need to pick up another pair of plates, but I can load my bar at the moment up to 425 lb. I'm back to work now (nights), so the way I'm sleeping and infrequently training, I might not have a lot more gainzzz coming anytime soon.

No caffeine today prior to lifting :/ ... weighed in the other morning at 217.2.

    Squat

    285x1, 257.5x4, 230x8

All moved pretty well. Ran out of time to bench.

3 hrs sleep, plenty of caffeine

    Bench
    215x1, 225x1, 230x1 PR, 207.5x2, 185x7, 155x10
215 was heavy and a little slower, then 225 absolutely flew...went for the 2.5 lb PR and just barely grinded her out. Left foot completely slipped out while unracking and had to set it again while holding bar, may have been a factor in difficulty.

    215.4 ambw

    Deadlift
    330x5
5 lb 5rm! This was my goal today as I didn't want to go 3 straight weeks hitting a 1rm. 6 days since I last pulled so that makes 3 PR deadlifts (2 1rm's and a 5rm) within 18 days....must be reaping the rewards of all that volume I did on 3 months of KSC.

    Press
    140x1, 147.5 & 145 x F. 127.5x4, 115x7, 95x10
That PR doesn't wanna go past the stick point around eye/forehead level. Couldn't even match my PR right after. All that bench grinding 48h ago may be a factor. Maybe next week I'll chill a little on bench and try again for press PR. Small chance that I skipped a rep at 115 and it was actually 8.

    217.6

    Squat
    305x1 PR, 275x3, 245x7
305 was a little grindy but not the worst ever. The only lift I've been unable to PR in quite a while. Not anymore.

    Bench
    232.5x1 PR, 210x2, 185x7
Another little PR. This thing was literally the grinder of all grinders.

Wow, quite the impressive run of PRs lately. Keep it up.

I can't really tell what program you are doing. Are you doing anything specific or just killing improv on the daily?

    starting strength coach development program
Thank you sir. I am basically following advice from Andy's training without a plan article. If you're not familiar, it is essentially working up to a heavy single that day based on how you're feeling, then doing 2-4 reps at 90% of that single and 5-8 reps at 80%.

Given that this month has been my lowest training volume and frequency ever, and that I'm sleeping like crap and not eating as well as I was, the only thing that makes sense is that I'm reaping the rewards of all that volume I did on KSC for 3 months prior to this month. I was hoping to maintain my strength as best as possible for the first few months after baby arrives, so these PR's have been a very, very nice bonus for me.
