Rough session. It's pretty clear that I've overtrained a little over the past 3 weeks. Thankfully, today was the last workout of my current macrocycle. I had planned to do a test week next week, but it might be best to just do a standard deload instead before starting a new cycle. I'll see how I feel on Saturday.

Started up a new cycle today, so easing back in with low volume. I trained with my wife at the U Mich gym, which was the first time I've worked out away from home since November when I was on vacation; it was a nice change of pace and kind of an ego boost as I was, by far, the strongest guy there. Felt pretty good overall, but I still have to feel out incline bench a little as I haven't done that movement in well over 2 years (I ordered the Rep Fitness adjustable bench last week, so I'll be able to do incline at home, but it doesn't arrive until Tuesday, which is why I decided to train at U Mich today). The end of this cycle will culminate in my participation in the Fall Classic, so hopefully it will be fruitful.
