Broke my 5th metatarsal distally down by the ankle 7 days ago. Limiting my training obviously. All cartilage and ligaments look good. Prognosis was 8 weeks to 100%. I ship in 8 weeks. We'll see. All benching done with lack of good leg drive.. so these numbers are actually making me pretty psyched. Having crazy animal sex with new girlfriend for cardio. Recreational black market Viagra is... hilarious.

Got a membership at Iron Asylum. 24/7 kicks ass. Two weeks into distally broken 5th metatarsal. Almost walking normally with wrap and sandal. Will likely move to compression sock and normal shoes next week and walk in it some more. Week 3 to 4 I might try some rowing and standing overhead press. Trying to be intelligent but give it a little bit of something to help it adapt and not lose too much muscle. Getting creative with upper body variation in the meanwhile. Having fun. Cardio is still all sex. Could be worse.

275 was stupid close. Got it off the chest easily, stalled out about half way up and fought it for a few seconds. 235x5 was a gratifying PR for me. I'm thinking I might be able to hit 240x5 by next week. We'll see
Need to eat more.
Press was standing overhead. First exercise I've done standing since I broke my foot. It's been two weeks and it seems to be going well. Walking on it very compressed in either squat shoes or my wrap with the weird sandal.
Fucking annoying about the Navy, but congratulations man. Recon sounds like it would be pretty sweet. I would have liked to see the looks on the Navy recruiters faces when you gave them the finger so to speak.
Good thing you don't need your foot for that lol
