Hey! Enjoy that beer! You deserve it for plowing through those weights, I can only dream of lifting these weights!

Keep on walking this wonderful path of yours

    Thank you very much!

I had a nap and feel almost normal again.

    Yeah, something like that.

But I haven't quite mastered that beer can crushing movement yet. Working on it, tho.

Great squat, Jan. An 1,100-pound total doesn't seem too far away.

    Thanks you very much, codger!

I still have have a lot of heavy lifting to do before I get close to that 1100 pound total, tho. Maybe later this year?

I'm hoping for a total of 1025 this week--I'll let you know on Saturday if I reach it! 1,100 by the end of the year would be tough for me. Maybe by next spring if all goes well.

    Press Day!

    Overhead press @ 95% of 1RM:

    20 kg x 5 x 2
    30 x 5
    40 x 3
    50 x 1
    60 x 1
    71 kg x 3

This was all right, heavy but no problem.

    More overhead press:

    64 kg x 5 x 3

The last reps on the third set were a bit slow.

    Even more overhead press still:

    54.5 kg x 10 x 2

By now it was getting difficult, and the last reps were getting really slow. Grinders.

    Side delt raise:

Four sets of 10 reps with a 5 kg plate in each hand. This was not as easy as I thought it would be.

    LTE:

    20 kg x 5 x 2
    27.5 x 5
    35 x 1
    43 kg x 6 x 3

    This was all right.

    Close grip bench:

    20 kg x 5 x 2
    40 x 5
    51 x 3
    62 x 1
    73 x 1
    83 kg x 5
    79 x 7
    75 x 10
    71 x 10
    67.5 x 10

By now I was getting really tired, and on the last set my arms were soft like overcooked spaghetti. I barely made that last rep.

All in all a pretty good day!

Nice pressing Jan. Lots of work, way to go getting all that done.
