Thanks man. I had actually got laid off from my old job 3 weeks before the baby came. No stress at all!

    Another week (#2)

    August 22
    BW 334

    Squat
    280 x 5 x 3
    Bench
    190 x 5 x 3

    August 25
    BW 334

    Deadlift
    325 x 5 x 1
    Press
    140 x 5 x 3

Things are going ok. Trying to not drain myself too fast. So 2 days a week at the moment is what I can manage. Hopefully I will be adding more days in the near future.

We have an appointment to get measured for a helmet... delivery was really long, and our guy ended up with some muscle tightness in his neck so he was turning right 80% of the time, and ended up with a flat spot. We got the neck fixed, but he was still on the edge of the line where they recommend the helmet, so he gets scanned in a few weeks.
Thanks, small light at the end of the tunnel.

Oh man. Good to hear his neck is getting better. That's really seems to be the new trend. Since no one is allowed to put their child in any other position, everybody's skull is flattening. They really scare the SIDS into ya at the hospital, no? I remember leaving and thinking about the list of things not to do and was like holy shit, anything I do will kill
my child, lol. My daughter likes to immediately roll on to her side when we lay her on her back, and she loves "tummy time" (thank goodness) so her head is nice and round. It's a wonder the human race has survived at all the way scare the shit out of parents.

So combine that with his tight neck muscles, and he was gassy and would only calm down while in his car seat taking a walk (where he would also tend to look right) and he ended up with a flat spot.
It certainly isn't easy. You got to do what you got to do when they won't sleep. Hope the little guy keeps getting better.

    BW 336

    Bench
    195 x 5 x 3
    Squat
    285 x 5 x 3

First time I've gotten any sort of endorphin rush after lifting since I restarted. That's good to see again.

    Sept 7

    Squat
    290 x 5 x 3
    Bench
    200 x 5 x 3

I felt much stronger today, which is nice to see. Tuesday was scrubbed by the baby not letting me sleep. Such is life.

    Sept 12

    Squat
    295 x 5 x 3
    Bench
    205 x 5 x 3
    Pulldowns
    150 x 10 x 3

Things continue to move just fine. Bench feels much better than the squat for whatever reason. Actually got my ass out of bed early enough to do an assistance exercise. I hope to add some days into the week so I can actually run out my LP properly. The little one is giving us 6 hours of good sleep pretty consistently, so hopefully that continues.

6 hours of sleep? Not ideal, but what in life is? Just keep the grind on!
