    Hi,

    my name is Tom. I'm from Poland, 26 years old.

    I wanted to get strong, so I started lifting weights. After a long time of wandering in the darkness of the fitness world, I started training for strength about 3 years ago.

    I made probably every possible mistake along the way, but I guess I was stubborn and determined. I came across SS method too late to go through a lengthy LP, but I milked it for what I could. Then I run the Texas Method, which took my squat to 185kgx5 and 210kgx1.

    I wish to become SS coach one day, so that I can help early trainees avoid wicked ways leading to nowhere. Since this is quite a costly endeavour for me and I still have much to learn, I'm making this a long-term plan. I don't know about any SS coaches in Poland, so I suppose I would be a pioneer.

    For now I decided it would be nice to acquaint myself with the community and move my training log here (from an obscure polish forum). I salute all SS members and coaches! May your bars bend under increasing loads.

    Best lifts so far (at bodyweight 100-105 kg)
    Bench 170kg (no pause unfortunately)
    Squat 220kg
    Dead 250kg
    Press 105kg

    In my training log "+" stands for superset
    Most of the time I only post working sets

    Paused bench 5x2 145kg, 3x5 127.5kg + Pendlay row 5x6 112.5kg

    Press 4x8 65kg + Chins (neutral grip) 4x5 +24kg

    Chin iso-hold, 3x 23 sec

    Toes to bar, 3x 15

    I expect to get trashed for some of the accessory work I do, but I learned that a degree of variation keeps me healthier.

    - 5 sets of 15 meter track, back and forth. 8/10 lengths running, 2/10 pushing with upper body. Load: 80kg

    - 20 lengths done walking with empty prowler

    Also, apparently I've lost my mind and ordered lifting shoes for half of my salary. Can't wait to get them.
