    Coach:

I'm having trouble getting the elbows around fast, and letting go of the bar into a good rack position in my hang power cleans (and power cleans from the floor.) Strangely, this doesn't happen when I squat clean ? I rack it perfectly if I'm pulling under into a full squat, be it from the floor or the hang.

It feels like I need to let go of the bar more as I approach the rack, but I can't seem to let myself do it. The weight felt light through the pull, and I think my inability to rack the bar well and quickly is the only thing holding me back from throwing a lot more weight on the bar right now. There are probably some other form issues that need to be addressed as well, but this is the one that I can "feel" at the moment.

The following videos are all at 205# except for the 5th, which is at 210# (these are all my successful lifts from a 7x1 this past Monday.)

You're catching the bar in your hands instead of on your shoulders, and so somewhat cutting off the pull. Jump harder, aim the bar at the rack position on your shoulders, and slam elbows up so the the rack is finished at the top.
