I am not aware of any way to force production of a hormone that is not already responding positively to the stress of training.
heh, besides the sex drive bit it accuratly describes me(well I'm not loseing strength but I'm not gaining much either).
I called a Hormone specialist and she said she would perscribe test to put me in the 600ng/dl and 170 ng/dl range.
That said I am interested in ways to force the production of test verses having to take it directly.

Mine is 906
I eat 4-5 whole eggs a day along with about 6tbs of grass fed butter and about 2lbs of beef between lunch and dinner.
Increase your cholesterol intake of real food. Cholesterol is your friend and will help increase your testosterone.
BTW I'm 45 179lbs @ 12%BF.
Blood test 11/11: total test = 197. Last blood test: 05/12: 953.
Symptoms: stalled lifts, poor recovery, extreme fatigue, extreme brain fog. The fatigue and fog severely impacted my life. I would get home from work and drag ass around the house. I'd work out 2-3 nights a week and fall asleep at 7:30 the others. Have a wife and 2 boys under 4 so not good. I would describe the "bad" days as so out of it that the house could burn down while I laid on the couch.
Libido was great and no probs with ED. My GP said I was "close to normal" and said he would try test but didn't push it. My urologist had a similar approach because my sex drive was still good. I had learned a lot online and I understand statistics/testing. The docs didn't. My GP had never heard of and wouldn't consider HCG or Arimidex with test. My urologist had heard of HCG but he wouldn't prescribe it. Found a doc at a cosmetic surgery/anti-aging center. He explained my test results and what they meant (even drew a bell curve). He explained the protocol - Test cyp + HCG + arimidex and how each one functioned and how they would treat my symptoms. He was more interested in my quality of life than numbers on a page. Everything he said matched my research for latest treatment methods. My lifts have progressed rapidly and I feel great!
Yeah it's probably going to be the rare doctor that orders a test for a baseline, but I think it's a friggin great idea. It pissed me off to no end to not have any idea what MY level should be at, low normal, normal normal, high normal. Who knows, you don't get the test till something is off. Going by feel is imporant, but pretty damn subjective for a bunch of guys. We can make ourselves believe just about anything if we want to. I got a shot the other day, now I have a sinus infection and feel like crap. Maybe I need another shot!
The prescription isn't the issue. If the event organizer is following the usual WADA anti-doping rules, you can apply for a "Therapeutic Use Exemption" from your country's anti-doping agency at least 30 days before the event, but the three things they need to see before they issue one are:
- The athlete would experience significant health problems without taking the prohibited substance or method
- The therapeutic use of the substance would not produce significant enhancement of performance, and
- There is no reasonable therapeutic alternative to the use of the otherwise prohibited substance or method.
For a powerlifter asking for a TUE for testosterone supplements, that means 'Not likely'.

OP, just so you see how effective this program is... just got my test results back from the lab, my testosterone levels are extremely low (350) for a guy my age. By following the program to the T -before i screwed up my diet without knowing- in 10 weeks i got to a 265 squat and 315DL. I eat like Rip indicates and slept for 8 hours each day, did not miss a single session. The program works IF you really follow it, and are mentally prepared for hard work.
