    It's not an "exercise" -- it's a movement drill you do once or twice to learn how to extend your lumbar spine.

    Yes Im doing the Novice program. As I understood it, it was to be practiced if necessary. I just wanted to know when I should do it.

    As it says on pp 42-44, do it before you squat.

    I have the knindle version. Do you know what page its on in that. I hacve done a search for "lower back control " and it didnt return any results. I seen the exercise for Lower Back Control in SS3rd edition on Kindle.
