Follow up to the pull up question. If you can do crappy pull ups where chin can barely clear the bar. Is progressing in the amount of reps over time also going to get you to the point you can do a chest to bar pullup?

Sure, if you're close. You just have to work on finishing the reps.

I almost crashed the car listening to that, I was laughing so hard. My first thought was I wonder if 3 times a day man was Carni.

Very entertaining and also very serious by the end too. Top stuff!

    Three a day is nothing.

I was a on a four a day routine for about a week while my wife visited family in WI as a sort of preemptive treatment for "wandering eyes".

Made for a fun reunion, but a sore next day.

Question regarding chin-ups and Austin's recommendation for 4-6 sets of negative/eccentric singles (around 11:30 in the video):
How long to rest between sets? Still at least 5 minutes?

Isn't a "chest to bar pullup" just a byproduct of a combination of momentum, wrist flexion and shoulder protraction?
