Ryan, yes, Soup was in H4. He's a good man, the next time you talk to him, please send him my regards! Glad to hear that you are doing well and enjoying DPE. Thanks again for all you do, and I look forward to seeing you around on the forums here. Take care.

Ryan, I seem to remember going to school with a Ryan Long (I was Class of '99, H4). Is that you? Either way, I hope all is well, and I hope you are able to bring some sanity about AR600-9 while you're in DPE! When I was a cadet, I participated in a study with Dr Crowder (not sure if he's still there, haven't Googled it yet) on minimalist training - lifting heavy once a week and eating right.

Either way, loved your article on the strength needs of a combat soldier. I'm a contractor now, but I have been here in Baghdad for 3+ years. Just found SS through Crossfit, and have totally converted back to the bar and away from CF (which I love, I have really missed lifting and am glad there is finally traction in the strength community).

Thank you for all you do as a Soldier. Enjoy your time at Hudson High, and with luck I'll see you around somewhere.
