    Hey Jordan,
how many days of no caffeine does it take to reset tolerance?
I tried searching online but I found a variety of recommendations from 4 days to 3 months.

It's unlikely that a short break in a chronic caffeine user becoming, practically, "caffeine naive" again. Most of the studies I've looked at suggest receptor remodeling (adenosine and ryanodine) and sensitivity resets in a little under a week, which jives with the withdrawal period in caffeine withdrawal. So I'd put my money on ~a week do become re sensitized to it and longer to really rest everything, if possible.

Is it worth quitting caffeine cold turkey to "resensitize the receptors" as opposed to just taking more? Would you do it?
I think I am averaging 500 mg daily in the form of liquid coffee.

How often do you recommend "resetting" if you will?

That's not really a lot, depending on the context. I just wouldn't take it before every workout, as some workouts are more important than others I would save my "ace in the hole" if you will (in the form of caffeine) for those workouts.

I don't really think it's necessary for most people unless their sleep is getting jacked up.
