I know you've posted it before but I couldn't find it for the life of me - what's your recommendation on mg caffeine/kg bodyweight pre-workout? I have a feeling my cup of shitty Keurig coffee on the way to the gym isn't cutting it.

Depends on your previous tolerance for caffeine, but 3-9mg/kg is the wide, wide ergogenic range.

From the experience of a ... ̶f̶r̶i̶e̶n̶d̶ me, I'd stay away from the 17mg/kg range. Just in case you were wondering.

Sounds like a magical place. What was it like? How did you get there even? Why? Was it for science?

    Sure, dark magic.

    What was it like?
    Paranoia, mostly.

How did you get there even?
Nine 200 mg caffeine pills over three hours.

    Why?
    2015 Raw Nationals.

    Was it for science?
I suppose, since it was an experiment of sorts. I notice an increase in performance with an increased dose, but I think I found my upper limit. 1000-1200 mg for a meet is good (400 is normal for a training session), but somewhere between 1200 and 1800 it passes the top of the crest and is too much.

Oh my dear lord, Sean. I'm glad you lived. Haha.
