I think outside of a small cohort of individuals, avoiding lectins is unnecessary.
I have recently been reading a bunch of research about the dangers of consuming plants with high lectin content, and that one should therefore specifically avoid consuming American grains, beans, nightshades family and squashes in favor of leafy greens, flower and cruciferous veggies, avocado, funghi and some others.
This seems to make much more difficult reaching my daily carb intake goals. What is your view on lectins?
