Knock out triples for about 3 weeks if you can and then switch to 5 singles across. When you exhaust the singles, go back to a 5RM with heavier weights.

Last week on Intensity day I missed the last rep of my Press topset (165x5). I'm trying to decide how to proceed from here. During an LP the answer is always just re-do until you can complete all reps but I was wondering if I should instead shift to triples or just try for 170x5 next time. What would you recommend?
How does the Press generally respond to TM programming?

In my experience, triples don't tend to last that long when used week after week. My best intermediate programs are a mix of singles and 5's.
