We have a bit in common in that I lost a bunch of weight last year and spent a fair bit of time trying to do an LP without gaining much weight, and not sleeping enough. I made gains on the LP but it obviously wasn't optimal and it was very tough.
Given your age and size, and compared with me, well... my guess is you still have plenty of gains in you from an LP if you program it right, so a 2 day LP sounds like a really good plan at this point.
I've just switched to HLM, for various reasons, and did my first 'heavy' day on Sunday - still feeling it 2 days later. I think it's going to work out well for me, but my 'other' sport is golf so it's not as taxing as boxing. Just my opinion, but I think you really should try and avoid going that way until you absolutely need to - milk LP a bit longer if you can.
